Music Composer for Film, TV & Games
Dan Light is an LA-based music composer and producer
creating works primarily for Film and TV. With a background
ranging from Jazz, Pop, Folk, Classical, and Electronic, Dan
offers a distinct and modern voice in music for media. His
music has appeared on nearly every major network and
streaming service, including CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, TBS,
Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV+, Disney+, Epix, and more.
Originally from Connecticut, Dan relocated to Los Angeles
after graduating from Wesleyan University.
Dan formerly worked with composer Jim Dooley out of Hans
Zimmer's Remote Control Productions on projects such as
Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events and TNT's
The Last Ship. In 2020, Dan contributed music to Leo
Birenberg and Christophe Beck's score to Epix's docu-series,
Helter Skelter. Currently, Dan works with composer
Zach Robinson and has contributed music to his score for
Netflix's Wrestlers, Peacock's Twisted Metal,
Roku's Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, and more.
